Mark C. Schneider is a recognized leader in community and economic development.  His career in real estate spans more than 20 years during which he oversaw innovative and award-winning developments involving more than $500 million in capital investment. Prior to the formation of his present firm,  Mark served as president of  The Rubinoff  Company where he was responsible for  developing, financing, constructing and marketing such projects as Washington’s Landing , a mixed-use waterfront development; Summerset at Frick Park, a 700-home Traditional Neighborhood community;  and Alcoa Business Services Center, a 250,000-square-foot office building on the Allegheny River’s North Shore. Mark entered the industry in 1982 as director of special projects for the North Side Civic Development Association and, beginning in 1988, joined the private sector as development director of Carnegie Properties. He moved to the Rubinoff organization in 1990.

Mark’s capacity to advance community quality-of-life issues are evidenced by his record of volunteer public service. He served as chairman of the Boards of Directors of both the Stadium Authority and  the Sports & Exhibition Authority during the period when PNC Park and Heinz Field were built and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center was tripled in size. Mark is a member of the Southwest PA Commission; serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Finance Authority; and is Allegheny County Commissioner  to the Southwest Regional Planning Commission. A member of the Board of Directors of 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, he also serves the organization as a consultant. Mark is a graduate of the University of Miami, Ohio.
